Tonight I'm thrilled to add J-10 to the completed list. It was prepped last night and all applique was done today.
Have a goodnight and I'll see you back here tomorrow for yet another combo.

ReplyDeleteYour blocks are so beautyful!
Gives me inspiration to move on with my DJ 30th blocks.

Jenn's comment is right, this is like a suspenseful movie! I am enjoying each day's new "treat"! Another beautiful one! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWow Heather, you are making good progress! So many beautiful new blocks! I like them a lot!
ReplyDeleteThis one is adorable also. I really need to get back to my Jane.
ReplyDeleteHi Els! You are listed as no-reply blogger, so I cannot email you directly in response.
ReplyDeleteGreat question! Since these combine the techniques of applique and piecing, they're called combinations (or combos for short) here.
Combination blocks can also include needlework such as embroidery. Basically, it just means you are using more than one technique to complete it....and I seemed to save several for the end. =)
Best wishes and thank you for your kind comments.
All my best, Heather
That block is really interesting!
ReplyDeleteGo Heather go, I still have to make that block, maybe next week. I think I'm going to save some easier blocks for my last ones :)
