Sewing Room Makeover: Part II

The makeover is still in progress. Unable to locate more of the glass/acrylic front cubes (stock is limited to scrapbooking cubes) at the local big box craft retailer, we’ll have to make the cubes we already have work. I found another large rolling cart, despite employees insisting that they were sold out. Either an employee moved the last for themselves or someone returned it. There was a tear in the cardboard box in the front but I was able to look inside and didn't see any marks on the contents.

After discussing plans with my guy, we have a better plan for that wall of cubes where the small cabinet will remain. Once I have the cabinets situated, I can clean off my L shaped counter & get to some sewing.

The picture shows the large rolling cart against the small cabinet but the weight of the cubes is a bit much, making opening and closing the top drawer a little difficult. The placement seems to work well. I've already moved the tightly packed Aneela Hoey fabric into it. I love the room that the longer drawers have - now have room for more fabric!! 😄 YAY!
Happy Organizing,
Heather
